Leh Ladakh is the joint capital and largest town of the union territory of Ladakh in India. Leh, located in the Leh district, was also the historical capital of the Kingdom of Ladakh, the seat of which was in the Leh Palace, the former residence of the royal family of Ladakh, built in the same style and about the same time as the Potala Palace in Tibet. Leh is at an altitude of 3,524 m (11,562 ft) and is connected via National Highway 1 to Srinagar in the southwest and to Manali in the south via the Leh-Manali Highway

Our journey to heaven on earth begins in Delhi. We start our road trip from Delhi at 6-30 in the evening and early morning we will reach Manali. From there the first day of our trip begins. The first thought on reaching Manali we will check in our hotels and have some time to freshen up and relax. After enjoying the breakfast at the hotel we will head out for local sightseeing at Manali. The local sightseeing involves places like – Hidimba Temple, Jongni waterfall, Vashisht temple, and the famous mall road of Manali. After all this exploring we will collect our bikes and head back to our hotels by evening. The night will start by serving dinner followed by a briefing for the next day.
On day two of the trip after having breakfast and check out from the hotel, we will be embarking sprightly on the route of Leh- Manali highway. This route is waving in and out the mighty snow-clad peaks of western Himalayas. The first spot on the site will be the Rohtang pass moving forward to Lahaul valley, moving along the Chandra River we will come across the Keylong and we will be traveling through the district headquarters of Lahaul and Spiti.
Furthermore, on the highway, we will drive through Darcha, Patsio, and Zingzing bar and over Baralacha – la pass. This pass is to be considered to be the most challenging passes among all the others on our way to Leh but through this tour, one can witness the panoramic views of the high rising sky, feels like touching the mountains. This experience is just like being in the lap of nature.
After so much traveling in the late evening, we will reach our destiny which is on the top of Baralacha – la. A small lake Suraj Tal, this lake is the main source of the river Bhaga and it is surrounded by snow-covered mountain ranges. After a break, we will descent down through killing Sarai to Sarchua for the night stay. We will be camping at Sarchu under the sheet of stars for the night.
After a hot delicious breakfast at the campsite, we will head out to our main destination of the tour Leh. Once we will start our Leh trip we will be instantly greeted with Gata loops and from there we will en-route cross Nakee-la, moving furthermore to Lachung la which is located just above Brandy Bridge. After a quick and short lunch break at pang, we will again start to cover the area by passing through Moore plains. These plains are completely flattened straight roads extending over 30 km. On these plains, we have a chance of spotting tiny colonies of marmots along with some wild herds of Kyung-yak.
After crossing Tanglang – La (5328 m) -The second highest motorable road in the world we will continue our journey through Upshi, Karu, and then finally we will reach Leh. On reaching Leh first thing we will check in our hotels and have a relaxing night to get energized for the next morning.
